Inspired by nature, an array of hexagonal cells assembled in combinational geometry. Each of the six sided cells are constructed from chocolate brown vegetable tanned leather and silver grey eucalyptus wood veneer. Waxed and polished, creating a sumptuous sheen. The panels are surmounted by a swarm of our bronze bee hardware created using the lost wax process. Each piece is heated with a blow torch, patination solutions are applied by brush and heated until the colours form. Finished in silver and gold plate, mixed with cold painted bronze in olive green, verdigris, black blue and speckled moth..

Commissioned to create a series of art pieces to feature within the public spaces of the new ship Eurasia. Taking inspiration from the traders of the ancient silk route, our studio created a series of delicate cut-works using hand patinated leather. Each panel is contained within a spun metal box frame, adorned with bronze bee hardware, patinated and polished.
Grey Birdseye maple veneer louvred screen. The cutwork pieces created, are a blend of ancient & modern technology. Selecting the finest veneer from our sources in Italy and the UK, they are cut into intricate and interlaced designs, using the ancient technique of intarsia pattern creation, executed using the latest digital laser technology. Inspiration is drawn from a mixture of historical and contemporary reference, interpreted in our unique manner, using stylized motifs against an interlocking background pattern. Each piece is encapsulated within crystal clear acrylic.
Peony Plate Marquetry, stylised floral crockery motifs reinterpreted into an oversized contemporary scale. Flowers representing the natural nectar that brings growth, fulfillment and new prosperous beginnings into our lives. The Peony is the ‘King of flowers’ in our design scheme, held within a crazed ceramic web. The pierced leathers are intercut with one another, placed on a mirrored ground and sealed behind clear glazing.
